Founded in 2012 as Pedagogue FC in Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands, Teachers FC was created by a group of passionate educators who shared a love for football and community. The club joined the Provo Premier League, the top division of Turks & Caicos football, and quickly earned respect for its discipline, teamwork, and resilience.
 
Renamed Teachers FC in 2013, the team made an early impact by reaching the national cup final in their debut season. Over the years, they have become known not just for their effort on the pitch, but for their commitment to education, youth development, and community spirit.
 
Wearing their colours with pride, Teachers FC represents the values of knowledge, unity, and perseverance, proving that football, like teaching, is about inspiring others to learn, grow, and never give up.
 
THE STORY BEHIND THE JERSEY
 
With a vivid turquoise base and an intricate coral structure print, the design reminds us what’s at stake. Because if we don’t protect the reef, we risk losing one of the island’s greatest defenders.
 
The coral structure printed across the shirt is inspired by the rich marine life of the barrier reefs that encircle Turks and Caicos— one of the largest and most pristine reef systems in the world. These reefs are more than natural wonders; they’re lifelines, shielding the islands from storms, supporting marine biodiversity, and sustaining the local economy through tourism and fishing.
 
The turquoise base reflects the crystal-clear waters of the region, while the coral pattern serves as a visual metaphor for resilience, balance, and protection. Placing this imagery on the goalkeeper kit makes a powerful statement: the last line of defense wears the mark of the island’s greatest natural guardian. It’s a celebration of ecology and responsibility, brought to life in every save.
